Author: Lauren Steele

Lauren Steele is a bookseller and manager based in London. She holds a B.A in History from the University of York and an M.A. in Renaissance Cultural and Intellectual History from the Warburg Institute. Her academic work specialised in the convergence of art and science in 17th century studies of volcanoes and in her free times is passionate about books in translation and small presses. She is founder of The Indie List, an online database of independent publishers and has worked on the committee for The Society of Young Publishers in London.
