Author: Eirini Diamantouli

Eirini Diamantouli is a doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Music at the University of Cambridge, and a graduate of King’s College London and the University of Oxford. Her musicological research reflects her interest in the post-revolutionary musical landscape in Russia and the resonance of Russian revolutionary theory and practice abroad. Eirini’s present research centres on the influence of the October Revolution on Hellenic musical culture in the early twentieth century. She enjoys writing about Russian and Greek music and music, dance and politics more broadly.
