Author: Charlie Evans-Flagg
Charlie Evans-Flagg is a Film & TV and Art History graduate from the University of Glasgow. Born in London, she now lives in Southside, Glasgow. Throughout her degree she has focused on the representation of women in art and film. Her dissertation focused on female sexuality, agency and consent in feminist television's critique of postfeminism. She is sceptical of current contradictory notions of female 'empowerment' and fascinated by the supposed 'era' of women in film/TV. She currently volunteers at film arts festivals and hopes to study a masters in Gender Studies.
